Located in the heart of the Mount William National Park, the Deep Creek Campground offers a nice base to explore the beauty of the National Park. Whilst National Park fees apply, if you’ve come this far, you will be happy to pay the nominal fee.
Located 37km east of Gladstone, the Deep Creek Campground is smack bang in the centre of Mount William National Park. Turn north off C846, 34km east of Gladstone at Eddystone Point Road junction for 3km. The road into the campground is a dirt road but it is in reasonable condition.
The camping ground offers around thirty individual campsites. The best spot is near the water tank.
You will find that you will spend most of your days swimming and fishing at the Deep Creek campground. The boat ramp 1km away ensures great access without the crowd of cars driving through constantly. The fire pits and picnic tables are a nice touch.

The proximity of the campground to the water makes it more appropriate to visit this campsite in the warmer months.
