Located on the southeastern tip of Tasmania, the Fortescue Bay camping ground is again a campground worth visiting if you are in Tasmania. This does however come at a price, with National Park and Campsite fees applicable.
Access
The Fortescue Bay camping ground is reasonably easy to access. Turn east off the A9, approximately 5km north of Port Arthur. The 12km road into the campsite is a gravel road that can easily be accessed by a two-wheel drive and caravan.
Best Spot
The camping ground offers over one hundred individual campsites. We believe the best spot to be near the river.
Activities
Take your pick! Whether it be fishing, swimming, canoeing, jet-skiing, or boating, this place has it all. You will be spoilt with the option of washing off in a shower at the end of the day.
Best Time To Go
The proximity of the campground to the river makes it more appropriate to visit this campsite in the warmer months.
