Located in the Murtho Forest Reserve on the Murray River, Murtho Forest Landing is located around a ten-minute drive from the small town of Paringa. Murtho Forest Landing offers all the benefits of a camping ground on a river, including swimming, fishing, and boating.
The Murtho Forest Landing camping ground is very easy to access. The camping ground is located 2.6km off Murtho Road, with the turnoff approximately 17km from Paringa. The road into the camping ground is a gravel road but can easily be accessed by a two-wheel drive and caravan.
The campground offers over thirty individual campsites. Even though all the campsites are very similar, anywhere along the river is the best spot. The ground is quite hard and there are no dedicated campsites.
Given the location of the Murtho Forest Landing campground, it offers numerous activities. Activities available for campers include fishing, swimming and boating in the river. The boat ramp offers the ability to launch small watercraft.

Given the campground is located on the Murray, it is recommended that the campground is visited during the warmer months.
