Located on the beautiful Yorke Peninsula on the south coast of South Australia, Tiparra Rocks is located around a five-minute drive from the small town of Balgowan. Tiparra Rocks offers all the benefits of a camping ground on the coast, including swimming and fishing.
The Tiparra Rocks camping ground is reasonably easy to access. The camping ground is located approximately 5km north of Balgowan. The road into the camping ground is a gravel road but can easily be accessed by a two-wheel drive and a smaller caravan.
The camping ground offers around fifteen individual campsites. The best spot is the most secluded being in the dunes, furthest from the entrance.
Given the location of the Tiparra Rocks campground, it offers numerous activities. Activities available for campers include fishing and swimming in the gulf. There is no beach access for vehicles or watercraft.

Given the campground is located near the beach, it is recommended that the campground is visited during the warmer months.
