Located on the River Broughton, 150km north of Adelaide, White Cliffs Reserve is located around a three-minute drive from the small town of Koolunga. White Cliffs Reserve offers all the benefits of a camping ground on a river, including swimming and fishing.
The White Cliffs Reserve camping ground is very easy to access. The camping ground is located 5km east of Koolunga, along the Koolunga-Yacka road. This is a gravel road however it can easily be accessed by a two-wheel drive and caravan.
The camping ground offers around fifteen individual campsites. The sites are nestled under ample shade along the river, with all the spots perfect for throwing in a line in the river.
Given the location of the White Cliffs Reserve campground, it offers numerous activities. Activities available for campers include fishing and swimming in the River Broughton. There is no ability to launch watercraft.
Best Time To Go
Given the campground is located along a river, it is recommended that the campground is visited during the warmer months. The campground is however very peaceful and would still be suitable in the cooler months.
